About Us
Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work—the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Who We Are
Bumi Botanicals is an independent florist dedicated to creating beautiful, expressive arrangements for weddings and special events. Our work is guided by a love of natural form, texture, colour, and flow—drawing inspiration from the way flowers grow in the wild.
We are especially passionate about Australian native flora, and often blend them with seasonal varieties to create designs that are rich in character and storytelling.
At Bumi Botanicals, our arrangements reflect the organic rhythm of nature. Whether it’s an intimate bridal bouquet or a large-scale installation, our goal is always the same: to craft something meaningful, memorable, and unique to you.
We also create handmade artisanal giftware using elements from every stage of a plant’s life cycle. From dried leaves to preserved flowers, we give nature a second life—transforming botanical remnants into lasting, eco-conscious keepsakes.
Our Values
We believe beauty should never come at the expense of the Earth. Sustainability is central to everything we create.
- We work with natural, ethically sourced materials that are gentle on the environment.
- Instead of using floral foam or single-use plastics, we opt for eco-friendly alternatives like twine, kraft paper, and foraged branches.
- Every step—from composting waste to repurposing botanicals into art—is guided by our commitment to environmental care.
Our aim is to lead by example, creating thoughtful floral work that honours both people and planet.
Meet the Maker
Renée is the founder and creative heart behind Bumi Botanicals. With a background in the arts and a deep reverence for the natural world, she brings a unique perspective to floral design.
After completing her floristry training in 2022, Renée discovered a true calling in the craft. Each arrangement she creates is a reflection of her artistry, attention to detail, and passion for connecting people through the beauty of flowers.
For her, floristry is more than a profession—it’s a heartfelt practice rooted in joy, creativity, and sustainability.
